Principal Ms. Priyanka Gulati and School Counsellor Ms. Susha Roy were invited by the Italian Ministry of External Affairs & International Cooperation and Uni-Italia to be a part of a delegation to Rome. The delegates met at the Ministry Headquarters in Rome, Italy, to attend a round table meeting with the Secretary General Mr. Alberto Ortalini, Uni-Italia India Head Ms. Valentina Lema and other ministry officials to discuss collaboration between India and Italy in the field of Education. The members got the honour of meeting Her Excellency Ms. Reenat Sandhu, Ambassador of India to Italy in Rome for an exchange of ideas on shaping up the Indo-Italian collaboration. The mission included a visit to La Sapienza Di University Roma, the largest university of Europe, followed by a visit and interaction with students and teachers of Instituto Ennio Querino Visconti, Instituto Tecnico Turistico Colombo in Rome, a historic 500 year old school to understand the educational landscape of this great country. Members of the delegation from India, comprising of School Heads and Counsellors from a select group of renowned schools of Delhi had the privilege to be present at the signing of the MoU with the Ministry of Education in the presence of Mr. Gido De Angelis and Mr S. K Bhattacharya, President of Action Committee of Private Unaided Schools, to initiate the Indo Italian collaboration in the educational arena.
